Description:

Historic renovation of existing community theater building constructed at the turn of the century that include seismic improvements and accessibility upgrades.

Notes:

Existing stone foundation that was failing was removed, over-excavated, structural pilings placed and new concrete foundations installed to shore up existing structure.

Accessibility improvements included the construction of 4 ea. new structural steel stair systems, aluminum guardrails and small building addition to create more efficient maneuverability. A new tower element was constructed that houses a 2-stop elevator thus providing full accessibility to the 2nd floor theater area.
